Krafty Chicks Challenge #553 STAMP ACT

Hello again! Welcome back to Krafty Chicks Challenge Thursday! It's April Fool's Day too but my project is no joke. I'm inviting all the butterflies to come out of hiding and bring a smile to everyone who sees it.

KRAFTY CHICKS CHALLENGE #553

I played around with some early released products from Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalogue 2021-2022. Butterflies are my one of my favourite things, so when I saw the Butterfly Brilliance Collection, I knew I had to have it ALL: Butterfly Brilliance stamp set (155092), Brilliant Wings dies (155523), Butterfly Bijou DSP (which was only available during the promotion or while supplies last and sold out quickly), and the Natural Touch Specialty Paper (156825, only available during the promotion or while supplies last).

Other supplies used for this card:

  • Thick Basic White card stock (159229)
  • Misty Moonlight card stock (153081)
  • So Saffron card stock (105118)
  • Bermuda Bay card stock (131197)
  • Basic Black card stock (121045)
  • Stampin' Cut & Emboss machine (149653)
  • Subtle 3D embossing folder (151775) NOTE: this is on the retiring list and only available while supply lasts. I am sad to see it go, I use it often.
  • Heat Tool (129053)
  • White Stampin' Emboss Powder (109132) NOTE: this is on the retiring list and only available while supply last as individual. On May 4, it will be bundled with Black, Clear and White as Basics Stampin' Emboss Powder.
  • Stitched Shape dies (152323) NOTE: this is on the retiring list and only available while supply lasts. I am sad to see it go, I use it often.
  • Matte Black Dots (154284)

I choose to decorate the inside of my cards and envelopes often. The only time I may not is if I'm in a hurry to create and give the card or make batch cards. I love the added touch and try to keep it simple. You don't want to add bulk if you are sending it snail mail or it will cost more. And you want to adhere well if adding elements to the envelope since the postal sorting and delivery system is not always gentle.

Don't forget to stop on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog for more details on the challenge and see what the others in the Hen House have created. As always, I invite you to play along, link up your project or post it on our FaceBook page. We love seeing what your are up to in your craft space.
