Krafty Chicks Challenge #580: Stamp Act

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you!

Welcome October! It's sweater weather with warm days and cool nights. The leaves are falling, leaving the trees naked (as my grand kids say). I'm getting the garden ready for hibernation, still have the potatoes and leeks to dig up but it’s getting too cold to work early in the day. Need more days off. Thanksgiving is just a few days away for us Canadians. Hello turkey, get in my belly!

Onto my card for this week's Krafty Chicks Challenge : Stamp Act. As long as something is stamped, be it an image or a sentiment, it qualifies for the Stamp Act challenge.

I made this card last Saturday during World Card Making Day. A whole day dedicated to crafting!! Well, I had to go into work for supper rush for about an hour but for almost 12 hours total, I was in my craft space. One of my happy places! I used a few retired products because they deserve a bit of love too.

Supplies I used:

You all know, I like to keep the inside of the card and the envelope clean and simple. A great way to use up your DSP, put the scraps on the inside and big chunk on the flap. No more hoarding that paper! Chop it, use it!!

Need more inspiration for the Stamp Act challenge, hop on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog to get the details. And upload your project so that we can see what's happening in your craft space.

  3. Gorgeous card! Those colors and the plaid make me want to put on a warm, cozy sweater, unfortunately here in Arizona it was 90 degrees today so I'll have to wait a while!
