Yeah, it's Thursday! Time for another great challenge from the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog. Let's put the spotlight on Christmas this week!
I prepared this card for an upcoming Christmas Stamp-A-Stack (SAS) and I followed 52 Christmas Card Throwdown sketch challenge. A SAS is an event where you make stack of cards. In this case, we will be making 9 cards total with coordinating envelopes. Participants will create 3 cards of each 3 designs. I'm going to say this is the more technical one but still quick and easy to assemble.
Supplies I used:
- Sweet Candy Cane stamp set: 159560
- Thick White card stock: 159229
- Garden Green card stock: 102584
- Pool Party card stock: 122924
- Sweetest Christmas DSP: 159559
- Real Red ink pad: 147084
- Garden Green ink pad: 147089
- Pool Party ink pad: 147107
- VersaMark ink pad: 102283
- Stampin Cut & Emboss machine: 149653
- Candy Cane dies: 159569
- Stitched Rectangle dies: 151820
- Heat Tool: 129053
- Embossing Additional Tool Kit: 159971
- White embossing powder: 155554
- Red Ribbon: retired
- Mini Glue Dots: 103683
- Stampin' Dimensionals: 104430
I like to keep the inside of the card and the envelope Clean and simple just by adding a bit of DSP and a coordinating stamp, like the holly leaves here.
Head on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog for more details about the challenge and for more inspiration for Christmas week from the Design Team. There's even a place to upload your project at the end. I hope you play along with us and show us what's happening in your craft space.

ReplyDeleteVery nice combo of colors and papers. The candy canes really come out very well on my simple sketch! Thank you so much for playing along with 52CCT. Rosi x
ReplyDeleteWhat a great look with the pool party added to the red and green, different but still such a traditional looking Christmas card. Very nice way to use the sketch too!
