Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you!
Are you ready for this week's challenge?? On the third week of the month, I'm the hostess and we are looking for CAS. There's a wide interpretation to CAS (Clean And Simple), so just have fun with it.
Now, here's my CAS Challenge card:
I love this Clean and Simple layout with the flower images in the top row and a gingham ribbon separating them from the sentiment. I also love the cheerful colour. This card is pretty much a Throwback Thursday card as well since I used mostly retired product. Only the ink, Stampin' Blends, and Basic White card stock is current. The stamp set used here is from the February 2020 Paper Pumpkin kit: Lovely Day and this card does have a Lovely Day feeling!
After I coloured the flowers, I outlined them with the Pool Party Stampin' Blend. I like the shadow look and it sort of gives them a bit of dimension. The ribbon was tied in a flat knot, I didn't want to add the bulk of a bow to a simple card.
No card is complete without finishing the inside with a coordinating image Same goes for the envelope. And since I love to colour, I added lots of flowers. Keep it simple!
