Krafty Chicks Challenge #726: All Occasion

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you! Only today is Friday, I'm a day late with my post.

Welcome to another great challenge week from the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog.

All Occasions is the theme. Just create something that is suitable for any special event, like wedding, sympathy, thank you and so on. I happen to think friendships are special and need to be recognized and celebrated.

Products used:

  • Stamp set: Cheerful Daisies (161290)
  • Card stock: Wild Wheat (161725), Moody Mauve (161723), Basic White (159726)
  • Fresh As A Daisy DSP (retired)
  • Ink pads: Moody Mauve (161649), Wild Wheat (161651), Mossy Meadow (147111)
  • Accessories: Cheerful Daisies Dies (161296), Tinsel Gems 4 Pack (161623), Scalloped Contour Dies (155560), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

I like to keep the inside of the card and the envelope clean and simple by just adding some DSP. For the envelope, more DSP was added and the extra flower die cut adhered.

Head on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog for more details about the challenge and for more inspiration for All Occasions week from the Design Team. There's even a place to upload your project at the end. I hope you play along with us and show us what's happening in your craft space.

Krafty Chicks Challenge #725: CAS

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you!

Are you ready for this week's challenge?? On the third week of the month, I'm the hostess and we are looking for CAS. I always have a difficult time with the true CAS design of lots of white space but I've come to realized after all this time that there's a wide interpretation to CAS (Clean And Simple). So just have fun with it.

This week's card features the July Paper Pumpkin kit and a few bits laying on my desk from other projects. It is a gorgeous card kit! I can't wait to create more alternatives with it. Using my Stampin' Blends, I coloured the frames, the border on the sentiment die cut and the rhinestones. Did you know you could do that?? Try it with any colour to coordinate your project. Here's a close up:

Products used:

  • Stamp set: July 2024 Paper Pumpkin - Painted Petals
  • Card Stock: Thick Basic White (159229), Basic Beige (164511)
  • Ink pads: Memento (132708)
  • Stampin' Blends: Calypso Coral (154881), Old Olive (154892), Basic Black (154843)
  • Accessories: Stylish Shapes dies (159183), Paper Snip Scissors (103579), Rhinestone Basic Jewels (144220), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

For the inside of the card, I just cut part of the card base to add a coloured strip. And the easiest envelope decor ever, use one from the Paper Pumpkin kit. They are pretty!

Want some more inspiration?? Go check out the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog to see what the Design Team have created. Hope you play along and upload your project so that we can see what's happening in your craft space.

Krafty Chicks Challenge #724: CHRISTMAS

Time for another great challenge from the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog.

Welcome to week 2 of our challenges and that's to use a Christmas or any holiday/winter theme on your project. I chose to put the spotlight on Christmas this week!

This card came together rather quickly since most of the die cuts were in my stash already waiting to be put together. All I needed to do was stamp the sentiment and die cut some stars. Here's a close up:

Products used:

  • Stamp sets: Merriest Trees (), Peaceful Christmas October 2021 Paper Pumpkin (retired)
  • Card Stock: Pool Party (122924), Pretty Peacock (150880), Basic White (159276), Gold Foil Sheet (132622)
  • Ink pads: Pretty Peacock (150083)
  • Accessories: Merriest Trees dies (162047), Dimensionals (104430)

To keep the inside of the card and the envelope clean and simple, I stamped the tree and used more die cuts. Quick and easy and done.

Head on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog for more details about the challenge and for more inspiration for Christmas week from the Design Team. There's even a place to upload your project at the end. I hope you play along with us and show us what's happening in your craft space.

Krafty Chicks Challenge #723: Stamp

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you! And Happy Independence Day to my American followers!

It's the first week of a brand new month, which means it's our STAMP week challenge. As long as something is stamped on your project, (rubber, polymer or digi) (sentiment or image), it qualifies for the challenge.

For our stamp challenge this week, I created a very easy encouragement card. Here's a close up:

I didn't have much time to craft this week. So using the May 2024 Paper Pumpkin kit, The Best There Is, I stamped a couple of trees on the mountain background layer and the sentiment on one of the banners. It was quick and easy!

No card is complete without finishing the inside with a coordinating image. Same goes for the envelope. Kept it simple here too.
