Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you!
Welcome January and hello New Year! Hope you had an amazing holiday season with family and friends. I rang in the New Year with hubby in our jammies, enjoying a small beverage. And went to bed soon after.
Onto my card for this week's Krafty Chicks Challenge : Stamp Act. As long as something is stamped, be it an image (digi or rubber) or a sentiment, it qualifies for the Stamp Act challenge.
For this card, I played along with Freshly Made Sketches #566. It was perfect to use my new Beautiful Shapes hexagon dies and of course a gnome! I goofed on my colouring of the hat but I didn't want to start all over so I just stamped again on a scrap, coloured just the hat and carefully cut it out. It kind of adds a bit of dimension too so it's another happy mistake. You can see what I mean in the close up.

Diane: Hi! Thanks for including my blog link in your post for your KC card! I've been honored this month to join the KC crew as the Guest Chick! My 91 year old great aunt lives across the street from us and this past year her little front yard space close to her front door has seen her growing collection of garden gnome figures!!! She loves them! I gave her a gnome-themed Christmas card because of that. With the leafy stems and hex designs and the gnome girls' greens, your card reminded me of my aunt and her gardening gnomes! Your card is cute and charming! --Becca/Guest Chick for KC in January 2023
