Krafty Chicks Challenge #786: CAS

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you!

Are you ready for this week's challenge?? On the third week of the month, I'm the hostess and we are looking for CAS. I always have a difficult time with the true CAS design of lots of white space but I've come to realized after all this time that there's a wide interpretation to CAS (Clean And Simple). So just have fun with it.

#786 CAS

Over the weekend, my Paper Pumpkin kit was delivered but I didn't have time to play with it. Too busy playing and having fun with the grand kids. But I knew I'd have plenty of time to create on my days off (Tuesday and Wednesday).

This is my first alternative using the September Paper Pumpkin kit: Fall For Toile. It was hard to leave all that "white" space so I added the sequins and some Wink Of Stella on the pumpkins.

No card is complete without finishing the inside with a coordinating image. I used the envelope from the kit and just added some pumpkins. Keep it simple!

Krafty Chicks Challenge #785: CHRISTMAS

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you!

Time for another great challenge from the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog. Welcome to week 2 of our challenges and that's to use a CHRISTMAS or any holiday/winter theme on your project. I chose to put the spotlight on Christmas this week!

 #785 CHRISTMAS

For this card, I used the card bases and envelopes that coordinated with the Beary Christmas Memories & More pack and DSP from the Suite. Even the polar bear is fussy cut from the DSP. Only thing stamped is the sentiment. So let's just say this was a quick and easy card!

To keep the inside of the card simple, I add a little strip of DSP. Quick and easy and done.

Head on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog for more details about the challenge and for more inspiration for CHRISTMAS week from the Design Team. There's even a place to upload your project at the end. I hope you play along with us and show us what's happening in your craft space.

Love To Craft Challenge Blog

Good day my Crafty friends! I can’t believe it’s already September and time to play along with the Love To Craft Challenge Blog. It's a wonderful group of crafty people creating and motivating the viewers to participate in the easy Anything Goes challenge every other month. You have six weeks to make time in your craft space and play along. I can handle that! Can you??

I’m playing with an older Paper Pumpkin Kit. I only added a bit of ink blending on the background and some yellow ribbon.

I like to finish the card set with a matching inside and envelope.

Hope you enjoyed my card today and that it motivates you to get creative. We all need a little me time, why not get crafty?? Upload your project for this week's Anything Goes theme on the Love To Craft Challenge Blog. This Anything Goes challenges runs from today, September 1 to October 15th. Plenty of time to get inky!
