Krafty Chicks Challenge #542 : Christmas

Good morning and welcome back to my blog. It's Thursday, so we have a new challenge starting today over on the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog. I'm still all giddy about being a Designer there.

Krafty Chicks Challenge #542: CHRISTMAS

I designed this card for my grandsons to give at Christmas this past holiday. Aren't the Gnomes just adorable?? I couldn't resist buying the Gnomes For The Holiday stamp set and I'm saddened that it just recently retired. This will remain on my shelf for a long while yet. I used my Stampin' Blends to colour the images. I'm getting better at blending and shading, made 20 of these cards, so I got lots of practice. The tree image is from a retired stamp set called Peaceful Pines.

When I first started making cards (many moons ago), I didn't know "finishing" off the inside of a card was a thing. Now there's barely a card without it done. And recently I've been introduced to "Never give a naked envelope". Brilliant concept! And so I've challenged myself this year to also include this extra special detail to all my card. Are you on my card mailing list yet??

Don't forget to stop on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog to see what the other amazing Chicks have created this week. And then join in, upload your project so we can see what's happening in your craft space.
