Good day everyone! Welcome to another edition of Krafty Chicks Challenge. It's Christmas week, even though we just celebrated Easter. I love making Christmas cards and I love this stamp set, Peaceful Boughs (150541). So sad that it is retiring.
The Last Chance Product List is an exciting yet sad time. It's time to say goodbye to some favourite products and make us rush to get everything on our Wish List. It's also time though to introduce the new Annual Catalogue, where new wonderful products start to shine for demonstrators.
I played with some scrap for the stripes. Do you keep all your scraps?? For I while I did keep them all but when the stash of scraps didn't get used, lots went to the trash and I start all over again. I vowed to use them more often, hence decorating the inside of cards.
Other supplies used for this card:
- Shaded Spruce card stock (146981)
- Basic White card stock (159276)
- Soft Suede card stock (115318)
- Red Red card stock (102482)
- Old Olive card stock (100702)
- Early Espresso card stock (119686)
- Shaded Spruce ink pad (147088)
- Early Espresso ink pad (147114)
- Beautiful Boughs dies (150661)
- Multipurpose Liquid Glue (110755)
I kept a similar layout for the inside and envelope using more scrap strips. And a little bough poking in the corners to tie it all together.
Now head on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog and see what the other Chicks have for inspiration and play along with us. Upload your project, Christmas theme this week, and share your love of paper crafting.
You can also visit the Chicks on their personal blogs for even more. You could even drop them a line in the comment section to show them some love.
