Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you!
Are you ready for this week's challenge? I'm the hostess and we are looking for CAS, as in Clean And Simple. Here's my card:
This card was so fun and fast (gnome was already coloured) to create. As I was cleaning up my desk earlier in the month, I noticed my container of tidbits was getting full. Sometimes when I envision a card and start creating it, it doesn't come out so simple, or I change my mind, or there's extra die cuts. All these tidbits get tossed in a container for later use. It's been a year since I last created a card with the gnomes. You can see it here. So it was time to put it on a card. I used Freshly Made Sketches 507 for this layout.
Supplies I used:
- Gnomes For The Holidays stamp set: retired
- Memento ink pad: 132708
- VeraMark ink pad: 102283
- Stampin' Blends Combo pack Mossy Meadow: 154890
- Stampin' Blends Combo pack Real Red: 1540899
- Stampin' Blends Combo pack Daffodil Delight: 154883
- Stampin' Blends Combo pack Smoky Slate: 154904
- Thick Basic White card stock: 159229
- Real Red card stock: 102482
- Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper (DSP): 153492
- Heat Tool: 129053
- White Stampin' Embossing Powder: 155554
- Paper Snips Scissors: 103579
- Real Red ink refill: 103287
- Water Painters: 151298
- Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine: 149653
- Layering Circles Dies: 151770
- Stampin' Dimensionals: 104430
I like to keep the inside of the card and the envelope just as CAS. Added some splatters (might have gone a little overboard on the envelope), some DSP and the other already coloured gnome. And we can call it done!
