Yeah, it's Thursday! Time for another great challenge from the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog. Let's put the spotlight on Christmas this week!
I have two cards to share today using the same layout; one landscape style and the other is portrait.
This layout helps you create quick cards. I chose to use DSP to add interest but you can definitely just leave the card base plain and use card stock. For the landscape card, I fussy cut the beautiful poinsettias from retired DSP. And on the portrait card, I stamped the holly image and coloured it with my Blends. Using dimensionals allows the focal element to stand out even more. Finally by adding embellishments like pearls, rhinestones or gems, your card now has bling and wow factor.
I like to keep the inside of the card and the envelope just as CAS. Alittle more card stock, DSP or an image even if you wish, finishes off your card.
Head on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog for more details about the challenge and for more inspiration for Christmas week from the Design Team. There's even a place to upload your project at the end. I hope you play along with us and show us what's happening in your craft space.

That is wonderful Christmas DSP, such pretty white poinsettias. Love how you showed the same sketch both ways, awesome how the end result makes each one so different!
ReplyDeleteBoth are just as beautiful as the other, friend! Very pretty!
