Krafty Chicks Challenge #783: MASCULINE

Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you!

Welcome to another great challenge week from the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog. MASCULINE is the theme this week and good luck to you. I struggle with cards for men. I love flowers and frills so I tend to buy more feminine stamp sets and play with those. I'll have to dig deep for masculine stamp set and dust them off before playing. Here we go!

 #783 MASCULINE

So I was thinking about how I don't have much manly Designer Series Paper when I happen to look on my right and see the craft bins rack full of old (I mean really OLD) dsp. I soon found a suitable pack to play with. It's dated Fall 2008 and there's not much left of it but that's ok, it's meant to be used up and not forgotten. I found an old stamp set as well, dated back to 2011 at least (not sure if it's older, didn't want to get lost down the Google rabbit hole).

Products used:

  • Stamp Set: Countryside (retired)
  • Card Stock: Soft Sky (retired), Basic White (166780)
  • DSP: Muirfield (retired Fall 2028)
  • Ink Pads: Memento (132708), Balmy Blue (147105), Old Olive (147090)
  • Stampin' Blends: Old Olive (154892), Crumb Cake (154882), Afternoon Azure (161672), Balmy Blue (154830), Smoky Slate (154904), Lost Lagoon (161680)
  • Accessories: Saying Something Mix & Match Ephemera pack (163761), Tinsel Gems (retired), Stampin' Dimensionals (104430)

I like to keep the inside of the card and the envelope clean and simple by just adding some DSP.

Head on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog for more details about the challenge and for more inspiration from the Design Teamfor MASCULINE week . There's even a place to upload your project at the end. I hope you play along with us and show us what's happening in your craft space.
