Happy Krafty Chicks Thursday to you!
Time for another great challenge from the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog. Welcome to week 2 of our challenges and that's to use a CHRISTMAS or any holiday/winter theme on your project. I chose to put the spotlight on Christmas this week!
#828 CHRISTMAS
So here's a little fun Christmas card. I started with a sketch, then I picked my DSP, then I couldn't make the DSP work with the sketch with the idea I had in my head, so I changed the sketch and now I'm totally happy. It's not always easy to play with non-traditional colours for a Christmas theme, maybe that's just me.
Products used:
- Stamp Set: Wild Bunch (June Product of The Month), Winter Gift (PP Nov 2019)
- Card Stock: Thick Basic White, Poppy Parade
- DSP: Merry Bold & Bright
- Ink Pads: Basic Black Hybrid
- Stampin' Blends: Basic Black, Real Red, Gray Granite, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo, Poppy Parade, Color Lifter
- Accessories: Stitched Shaped dies, Stampin' Dimensionals
To keep the inside of the card and the envelope clean and simple, I stamped a coordinating image and a little more DSP. Quick and easy and done.
