Love To Craft Challenge #95

Good day my Crafty friends! It's already November and Christmas is just around the corner. Ready or not, it's coming! This is the month that I mostly create Christmas or winter cards. Today is Day 1.

It's time to play along with the Love To Craft Challenge Blog: a wonderful group of crafty people creating and motivating the viewers to participate in the easy Anything Goes challenge every other month. You have six weeks to make time in your craft space and play along. I can handle that! Mostly!! But November 1st kind of crept up on me. I saw it coming and every week in October, I told myself to create a card but I kept pushing it off. I'm hoping our Admin for this challenge, let's me play but I understand she can't hold up the blog post just for me. So it's possible you don't see my creation on the challenge blog. I promise to do better and be on time in January.

 For this card, I created an alternative design with the October 2026 Paper Pumpkin kit: Noel Greetings using the sketch from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

 

 

I was having a hard time putting the idea from my head onto card stock until I added the sweet chickadees, then it all fell into place. Chickadees are from October 2024 Paper Pumpkin: Nests of Christmas.

 

 

 I like to finish the card set with a matching inside and envelope. Keep it simple with just a little card stock and a coordinating image.
