Good morning and welcome back to my blog. It's Thursday, so there's a new challenge starting today over on the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog.
Krafty Chicks Challenge #546: CHRISTMAS
I made this card while crafting with friends in a private room on my Facebook Group. We have not been able to gather here in Alberta (and almost everywhere in the country), and it was nice to see my gal pals, craft together, and chit chat.
I played along with a Bingo type challenge, where you pick a line and you create your card using what is asked for in the squares. I was able to use all nine squares:
Something Shiny: Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper (152493)
Neutrals: Crumb Cake card stock (120953)
Ribbon: Retired Mossy Meadow twine
Sponging: Sponge Daubers (133773) using Crumb Cake ink (147116)
FREE SPACE
Embossing: White Embossing Powder (109132), heat tool (129053) in VersaMark (102283)
Circles: Stitched Shapes (152323), Layering Circles (151770)
Die Cut: Retired Sounds of The Season Dies, Stampin Cut & Emboss (149653), Gold Foil Sheets (132622)
Brights: Real Red card stock (102482) even though it is considered a Regal colour according to Stampin Up!, I still consider it bright.
I had a few scraps of the Retired (but returning in the next Annual Catalogue) Heartwarming Hugs DSP laying around so of course it should be used to decorate the inside of the card and the envelope. Sentiment on the card and jingle bell image are from the Retired Cherish The Season stamp set.
I hope you like my card this week. Do not forget to stop on over to the Krafty Chicks Challenge Blog to see what the other amazing Chicks have created for you. And then join in, upload your project so we can see what is happening in your craft space.
Such a great card, like that die/s and the inking wow, brings the card together. Way to go friend. Have a great day Hugs, L:)
